New Director of Food and Nutrition Services Joins Summit Oaks and Psychiatric Solutions

SUMMIT, N.J. - (June, 2010) - Summit Oaks Hospital, a Psychiatric Solutions, Inc. (PSI) facility, is pleased to announce the return of Lynda Buntin as Director of Food and Nutrition Services.

"We are happy that Lynda has decided to join us again," said Jim Gallagher, chief executive officer for Summit Oaks Hospital. "She wants to make sure all of our patients receive proper nutrition. She understands how important that is to not only physical health, but mental health as well."

Most recently, Buntin served as Dining Services Director at Saint Clare's Health System in Denville, N.J. During her nine years there, she improved food quality and made her department more cost-effective and efficient. She also served as Director of Food and Nutrition Services for Marion County Medical Center in Marion, S.C. Prior to that, Buntin directed food service operations for Summit Oaks for 13 years.

Buntin graduated from Douglass College at Rutgers University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Food Service Administration. She has won numerous awards for her work and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater New Jersey Society for Healthcare Food Service Administrators.
